Kids’ Dental Care

It’s so important to begin a proper oral health care routine with your child as soon as possible. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit a dentist when their first tooth begins to erupt, or by their first birthday (whichever comes first). This early care allows your child’s dentist to ensure that baby teeth erupt properly. Problems with the eruption of baby teeth could lead to problems with permanent teeth when they begin to come in (typically starting around age 6). Be sure to bring your child in to see Dr. DeSaix and the Kildaire team, so we can help your child have a smile he or she loves showing off.
